AP/AR Associate

We are currently seeking a highly organized self-starter to join our growing team as our Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (“AP/AR”) Associate. In this role, the successful candidate will report to the firm’s Financial Controller and process all AP/AR using the firm’s accounting system. In addition, the AP/AR Associate will assist the accounting and finance team in other aspects of managing the accounting responsibilities for the firm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts payable process, including coding and posting invoices, reconciling vendor statements and processing payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, including recording and applying payments, sending invoices, and reconciling accounts.
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable systems, ensuring data is entered correctly and promptly.
  • Respond to vendor and client inquiries, resolving any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end reports, including accounts payable and receivable aging reports\Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma with knowledge or interest in accounting & finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with accounting software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
