Relationship Development Associate

We are looking for a talented highly organized self-starter with aligned values to join our growing team as a Relationship Development Associate. This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the firm’s Head of Relationship Development to shape, drive and execute the firm’s business development strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Provide administrative and operating support to Head of Relationship Development and associated team
  • Document and manage the prospecting process  
  • Ensure that all family engagement activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner
  • Support developing events that foster networking opportunities with our prospective clients

Prospecting & Research

  • Conduct market research and identify potential clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners
  • Create presentations, proposals and other required engagement tools

Prospect Management

  • Schedule & track prospect meetings and collaborate on agendas
  • Assist in preparing all necessary materials and requirements for prospect meetings
  • Provide follow up support on meeting action items, as directed by Head of Relationship Development
  • Maintain prospect data management through the CRM and all related systems
  • Prepare and maintain onboarding exercises and records for prospects transitioning to client families as per the Prime Quadrant prospecting and onboarding process

Team Coordination

  • Work closely with staff across departments to implement growth strategies
  • Track and analyze sales data to inform or update marketing strategies
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Support execution of all events and digital media campaigns
  • Identify efficiencies, resources and areas for improving our business development process
  • Work closely with consulting teams to ensure all stakeholders are informed of imminent clients.

  • 3-5 years of experience in an administrative and/or business development capacity, preferably in financial services serving a high-net-worth clientele
  • University degree (business or finance concentration an asset)
  • CRM systems experience, ideally Salesforce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
  • Strong Microsoft Office technical knowledge, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
