Mo Lidsky is the Chief Executive Officer of Prime Quadrant and is the chair of our Executive Committee.
Prior to Prime Quadrant, Mo founded and led organizations in industries as diverse as education, auto restoration, e-commerce and microfinance.
Philanthropically, Mo is the current Chairman of CAF Canada, the Prime Quadrant Conference and the Prime Quadrant Foundation. Mo also sits on the boards of several non-profit organizations including, Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Hebrew University and Holland Bloorview Hospital.
Mo has served on numerous investment committees and had a five-year tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of Yeshiva University (Canada), where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of strategic development, recruitment and managing the Canadian endowment.
Mo has also authored or co-authored four books including, Partners in Preservation: How to Know Your Advisor Is Truly Protecting Your Wealth, The Philanthropic Mind: Surprising Discoveries from Canada’s Top Philanthropists, In Search of the Prime Quadrant: The Quest for Better Investment Decisions, and Selling Snake Oil: Investment Lessons from the World’s Greatest Frauds.
In recognition of Mo’s contributions to the community and innovative leadership, Mo has been selected as the recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award. However, his greatest distinction continues to be his extraordinary wife and five adorable children.
Mo holds multiple degrees, Magna Cum Laude, from Yeshiva University, and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Jeremy Rosmarin is a Principal and Managing Director of Prime Quadrant. His responsibilities include overall management and strategy for Prime Quadrant's consulting team and working with client families.
Jeremy is a member of our Executive Committee and chairs our Investment Committee.
Since joining Prime Quadrant, Jeremy has developed or managed a broad range of areas at the company, including investment research, portfolio reporting, trade execution, client service and our family office services.
Jeremy graduated from McGill University, earning a degree in economics with distinction, and is a CFA Charterholder.
He has led workshops on various investment-related subjects, including Value Investing, Manager Selection, and Investor Education. He is co-author of In Search of the Prime Quadrant: The Quest for Better Investment Decisions.
When he is not with the Prime Quadrant team, Jeremy enjoys time with his wife, Leore, and three young children.
Andrew Doman is a Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Prime Quadrant.
Andrew is a member of our Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Andrew has spent the last 20 years in the financial industry including holding senior roles as CFO of Turtle Creek Asset Management, COO of Man Investments Canada, and COO of Abria Financial Group. Andrew also served as Deputy Chair of the Canadian arm of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA).
Andrew received his MBA from the University of Toronto in 1998 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1994.
Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys spending time with his active and sports minded family and serves as a director and Treasurer for the Oakville Soccer Club.
Mark Roth is a Principal, Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Risk Officer of Prime Quadrant.
Mark is a member of our Executive Committee and chairs our HR Committee.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Mark held the role of Co-President, Operations & Strategy and CCO for Forthlane Partners and served as the Managing Director, Head of Business Management for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). Prior to moving to Canada, Mark spent eight years at Morgan Stanley in New York where he held the successive roles of Head of Capital Markets Risk and then Chief Global Market and Operational Risk Officer for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Mark has also occupied CFO, CAO and COO roles for Bassini Playfair Wright LLC in New York and Sao Paolo, and Deutsche Asset Management in the US and UK.
Mark earned his BA in Economics from Yale University, Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
In his spare time, Mark is occupied with a growing family, and also serves as past National President and current Board member of Hadassah Associates, a 30,000 member US-based organization committed to advancing medical care, healing and education around the world.
Elizabeth is a Senior Adviser and is the founder of Beekman Wealth Advisory (est. 2003), which merged with Prime Quadrant US in 2022.
Previously, she had been the Chief Investment Officer for Kisco Management, the family office for a Forbes 400 family; a Vice President of the Princeton University Investment Company, which manages the Princeton University endowment; and an investment analyst on the staffs of two corporate pension funds.
Elizabeth graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and earned her MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Elizabeth is a CFA charterholder.
Jamie Spinner is a Principal and Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant. Jamie provides investment consulting advice and serves as a trusted advisor to families. Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Jamie was an Investment Manager with a single family office in Toronto and a Senior Manager in Corporate Finance at Grant Thornton where he led private M&A transactions. Jamie has also worked in equity research for Blackmont Capital, covering publicly listed consumer product companies.
Jamie has a diverse background in financial services. His 20+ year career spanning wealth management, institutional equity research, corporate finance and private market M&A provides him with a unique lens in advising families. Jamie has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University. Jamie is a CFA charterholder and has completed the Canadian Securities and Exempt Market Dealer courses.
Jamie is an avid skier, devoted Montreal Canadiens fan and enjoys traveling with his family. Jamie sits on the Leo Baeck Day School Board of Directors and is a member of its Investment Committee.
Terry Vaughan is a Principal and Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant. He has over 20 years of experience in investment counselling, portfolio management, equity research, project finance and engineering.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Terry was an Investment Counselor at WaterStreet Family Offices. He started his investment management career at Toron Capital Markets (now part of the Cidel Group) where he was a Partner and Head of Equity Research. He then co-headed the investment team and headed portfolio management for UBS’ Wealth Management business in Canada (UBS Investment Management Canada Inc.).
Terry is a member of CFA Institute as well as CFA Society Toronto where he has been an active volunteer – most recently as Chair of the Society’s Private Client Committee. He has also taught candidates preparing to write their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.
Terry has a degree in Engineering from McMaster University, is a Professional Engineer (Ontario), has an MBA from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder. He currently serves on the Investment Committee at The Atmospheric Fund (TAF) and is past Chair of the Board of Directors of kids.now – a not-for-profit after school program that mentors grade 7 and 8 kids and gives them tools to make the right choices for healthy, satisfying and productive lives.
Lauren is a Senior Adviser and joined Beekman Wealth Advisory in 2014, which merged with Prime Quadrant US in 2022.
Previously, Lauren had worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Investment Management Division, where she rose to the rank of Vice President.
Lauren graduated cum laude from Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Sciences with a BA in Psychology.
Dijana Ebach is the Chief of Staff at Prime Quadrant and sits on the HR, Business Development, and Social & Communications committees.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Dijana was the Chapter Manager for one of the largest Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) chapters in the world. She is an expert in organizational engagement & Board operations, curating the highest quality of executive learning and programming, as well as strategic partnerships.
Prior to YPO, Dijana served as the Customer Experience Director for one of Canada’s oldest HR providers.
Dijana holds a diploma in film and television production from the Toronto Film School and is a serial volunteer.
She enjoys running, the arts, the Toronto food scene, and above all, spending time with her young family.
Wayne Edelist is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant. He brings to his clients the experience and investing knowledge earned during an international career in finance, spanning 25 years and counting.
Starting in Toronto with RBC Dominion Securities, moving on to become a seasoned professional over 9 years in New York City with Goldman, Sachs & Co., he was then recruited to Hong Kong where he worked for Deutsche Bank, Citigroup and Société Générale over a 12-year stint, mainly focused on equity derivatives. Wayne has advised and serviced many sophisticated professional investors, including some of the world’s most prominent sovereign wealth, pension and hedge funds.
Wayne graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Actuarial Science and was awarded the London Life Gold Medal. Concurrently he earned his professional qualification as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA). He is a CFA charterholder.
Outside of work he is the father of two teenaged boys and has been pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it has been becoming a dedicated CrossFit athlete.
Joel Ferkul is an Associate Director of Information Technology at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Joel worked in data analytics at Westcourt Capital aggregating their data collection procedures and standardizing their reporting process. He has a strong background building, implementing, and integrating analytics solutions in a range of industries and brings a diverse toolset to help scale and automate business processes.
Joel graduated from Ryerson University, with a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Business Technology Management.
Joel enjoys being outdoors biking or playing hockey. Outside of being active he enjoys watching new films and exploring innovative trends in the technical space.
Peter Fink is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant.
Peter has over 30 years of business development and relationship management experience, working with institutional and family office investors. He has been increasingly involved with alternative investments for a number of years.
Prior to Prime Quadrant, Peter had worked at Kensington Capital in Toronto, and previously for two alternatives investment managers in the U.S. Before that he had been in senior roles with Russell Investments and Citigroup, both in Canada and the U.S.
Peter has a B. Comm. (Economics) from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He is a member of the Investment Committee of the Holland- Bloorview Hospital and was a former member of the Investment Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Toronto
Peter Friend is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant and has over 30 years of portfolio management and investment research experience. His background includes actively managing portfolios of both public and alternative assets.
Previously Peter was an Investment Specialist at Sprott Private Wealth, where he reviewed investments for the firm and its advisors. Prior to Sprott he had senior roles at two single-family offices in Toronto where his responsibilities as Chief Investment Officer included direct private equity investments, alternative partnerships, public equities and hedge fund investments. Peter was Vice-President and Director at TD Capital, leading investments in subordinated loans and private equity funds. He was one of the first investment professionals of TD’s private equity fund-of-funds which grew to become Northleaf Capital. Peter’s experience with alternative investments began at OMERS pension fund where he was Senior Portfolio Manager, managing the private equity portfolio.
Peter has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Peter is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto CFA Society.
Jim is the Deputy Head of Investments of Prime Quadrant.
Jim joins us with a wealth of experience gained from his 15-year tenure at CPP Investments as well as from his recent position as a Visiting Researcher at Bodhi Research Group. While at CPP Investments in Toronto and Hong Kong, Jim gained broad and diverse experience across several areas including investment research and due diligence, asset allocation, portfolio construction, financial modeling, relationship management and business planning. A notable highlight of Jim’s CPP Investments tenure was his experience building and managing a variety of global investment portfolios, and he was a key contributor to the growth of the firm’s emerging market portfolio. Jim’s investment experience spans both public and private markets.
Jim received a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Business Administration from the Ivey Business School and holds the CFA charter.
Outside of work, Jim can be found paddle boarding, cycling with his family, or attending Paw Patrol concerts with his young daughters. He has also enjoyed supporting efforts to expand life-saving stem cell donations.
Bill is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant. He has over 30 years of experience in investment counseling, manager selection, and portfolio management in both public and private markets.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Bill was most recently the CIO and CXO at Portfolio HiWay. He previously co-founded Patrimonica Asset Management Inc., the investment unit of a multi-family office based in Montreal where he was the President and CIO. Earlier in his career, Bill was a Vice-President, Portfolio Manager, successively at TAL Private Management Inc. and McLean Budden Ltd., providing advice and managing portfolios for wealthy families, foundations, and endowments.
Bill is a CFA charterholder and has an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from the University of London. He completed his undergraduate studies at the John Molson School of Business (JMSB), Concordia University with a BComm in Finance. Bill has been involved with JMSB as a mentor, Client Committee Member and Chair for the Kenneth Woods Portfolio Management Program since its inception in 2000. Over the years, Bill has also volunteered as a member or as chair of several investment committees for non-profit organizations in support of poverty alleviation and palliative care in his community.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys travel adventures with his family and maintains an active lifestyle as an avid cyclist and runner.
Zubair Ladak is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant. He has over 20 years of experience in investment counselling, portfolio management and fixed income and foreign exchange research.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Zubair was a Senior Portfolio Construction analyst at RBC PH&N Investment Counsel where he provided Investment Counsellors with advice, support and training on all aspects of discretionary portfolio management, portfolio construction and investment policy statement development.
Zubair is a member of the CFA Institute as well as the CFA Society Toronto where he has been an active volunteer and former Vice Chair of the Society’s Private Wealth Committee. Zubair has a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of B.C. He also is a CFA charterholder.
Zubair lives in Toronto and enjoys being active in the community and raising his daughter.
Deborah Lee Chang is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant. She is a seasoned investment professional with over 25 years of experience managing investments for both institutional and private clients.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Deborah was Lead Portfolio Manager in Institutional (Mutual and Pension) funds and strategies following a Value mandate at TD Asset Management. Deborah started her career in Equity Research at Jones Heward Investment Management (now part of the Bank of Montreal) before becoming Portfolio Manager, Canadian Equities.
Deborah has a long-standing relationship with CFA Society Toronto having served as its President (Chair) of its Board of Directors as well as Chair of its Governance and Membership Committees. She founded the Mentorship program, which won the CFA Institute’s Award for Innovation. Most recently, she was an Adjunct Lecturer for the Master of Finance program at the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University.
A graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, Deborah is a CFA charterholder and has experience as a registered Commodity Trading Manager (CTM).
An avid traveler, she is a member of the Travelers’ Century club and enjoys scuba diving with her family. When not in the office or travelling, Deborah enjoys fencing with either a “shinai” (Kendo) or an epee.
Isaac is the Associate Deputy Head of Investments at Prime Quadrant and a longstanding member of the team having joined in 2014.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Isaac worked as an Investment Analyst in the Quantitative Equities Team at TD Asset Management and co-authored a research paper on the low volatility anomaly that was published by Canadian Investment Review.
Isaac graduated from the John Molson School of Business with a Bachelor in Commerce, Finance and is a CFA Charterholder. At John Molson, Isaac participated in Concordia’s co-op program where he gained experience in asset management and corporate finance before joining TD Asset Management.
Nancy Marshall is the Head of Family Office Services at Prime Quadrant.
Growing up in a family enterprise, coupled with close to 30 years in the financial services industry, Nancy understands operational and familial harmony, risk and conflict. Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Nancy worked with ultra-affluent families at BMO Private Wealth assisting families in navigating all available options across the bank and helping them plan and navigate the M&A process. Prior to working on the wealth side, she worked in capital markets and corporate finance both in New York and Toronto for JPMorgan Chase covering some of the largest energy companies in North and South America.
Nancy holds an MBA in Accounting from Saint Mary’s University and a BComm in Marketing and Management from Mount Allison University. She also holds the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation. Aside from being busy with her husband and three ‘almost-grown’ children, Nancy is a competitive equestrian and an avid tennis player.
Mikhail Pozdniakov is the Head of Operational Due Diligence at Prime Quadrant.
Before joining, Mikhail was a Senior Operational Due Diligence Analyst at Albourne Partners. He holds an MA in Theory & Criticism from Western University and a BA in English from York University. Outside of work, Mikhail enjoys acoustics and sound engineering, as well as film, music, literature and games.
Ginger Rothenberger is Corporate Controller at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Ginger worked as Director of Finance at panCELLa Inc. She brings 15 years of experience in senior-level accounting within the financial services industry, having worked with companies that provided hedge funds to both private and institutional investors. Ginger holds a CPA, CGA designation, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University.
Ginger enjoys spending time with her fur babies and family outside of work. She also enjoys relaxing by trying new recipes on her family and friends.
JP Shallow is an Operations Manager at Prime Quadrant.
JP comes to us from State Street where he was a Senior Operations Associate, working with one of their largest clients providing custody, accounting and treasury services. JP holds a B.A. Honours degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Guelph. In his spare time JP enjoys playing hockey, camping across Ontario and reading anything by Stephen King.
Angela Smith began her career as an articling student at Deloitte in Calgary. Angela worked with both the audit and tax teams throughout her twelve years with the firm, and rounded out her tenure as a Senior Tax Manager in the Private Company Services group. Angela was a trusted advisor working closely with her clients through corporate reorganizations, the implementation of strategies associated with estate and succession planning, and the completion of corporate, trust, and personal tax compliance.
Angela then transitioned into her role as the Director of Tax and Accounting at Canadian Family Futures. As a multi-family office specializing in the successful transition of wealth over generations, she worked closely with high net worth families as their Chief Financial Officer. Angela focused on reducing complexity and preserving capital to achieve the family’s financial goals. She provided proactive management and oversight of her client’s financial affairs including tax planning, cash flow management, budgeting and credit needs as well as financial education for the next generation.
Angela graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Professional Accounting. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has completed levels I and II of the In Depth Tax Program.
When she’s not at the hockey rink, football field or music studio with her young family, Angela enjoys travelling and spending time in the outdoors.
Charlie Smith is the Head of Strategy and Development at Prime Quadrant. In his role, Charlie oversees the firm’s business development and marketing efforts, and identifies partners, investment opportunities, projects and relationships that drive Prime Quadrant’s long-term strategic plan.
An experienced wealth management and family office executive, Charlie was most recently the Director of Family Office Services and Corporate Development at Cidel, a leading Canadian private bank. Prior to Cidel, he was a founding partner of multi-family office Forthlane Partners, where he was Head of Business Development and a member of the firm's executive and investment committees.
Charlie is a graduate of Miami University, where he was a member of the NCAA Division I Ice Hockey team. Charlie, his wife and two children reside in Toronto, and he is a member of the Leadership Counsel of Capitalize for Kids, a children's mental health charity. In his free time, he is an avid golfer and runner.
Steve Theriault is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant, bringing to clients over 20 years of investment industry experience in equity research, relationship management and credit research.
Steve began his career at Bank of Montreal in equity and corporate debt research, moved to Bank of America Merrill Lynch to become the lead Canadian financial services analyst and most recently was a Principal and Director of Research at Eight Capital. Steve has advised and serviced many of the largest investors across the global pension fund, hedge fund and long-only institutional community.
Steve graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honors Bachelor of Mathematics Degree in Actuarial Science and Economics, with a specialization in Finance and a minor in Statistics. He is a CFA charterholder.
Steve is an avid hockey and squash player, enjoys spending time outdoors and travelling with his family.
Nic Vangog is a Manager of Associate Projects & Training at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Nic was a Client Service Associate working with alternative investments at State Street Corporation. At State Street, he acted as a primary point of contact for institutional clients and was responsible for the oversight of all fund activity, as well as prioritizing and delegating inquiries among internal teams.
Nic graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Economics and was an ECAC Academic All-American. He has since completed the Canadian Securities Course.
Trish Wilson is Director of Engagement at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Trish spent over 10 years at RBC in Client Care Management and Private Banking where year over year she earned top scores on national client satisfaction surveys.
Outside of work Trish is deeply connected to her community and can be found hosting monthly campfires in the park, visiting museums, attending concerts, square dancing and exploring the city either on foot or bicycle. She has traveled to the Philippines to volunteer, organized clothing drives, co-chaired the Employee Giving Campaign at RBC and has mentored newcomers with TRIEC – Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council. Trish is thrilled to be co-captain (and head cheerleader!) of the Prime Quadrant softball team.
Patty is a Senior Adviser and joined Beekman Wealth Advisory in 2012, which merged with Prime Quadrant US in 2022.
Previously, she had been an executive with JH Whitney Investment Management, LLC, a registered investment adviser, where she rose to the position of Chief Financial Officer; an accounting manager and senior manager of contracts administration at Daimler Chrysler Capital Services; and a supervising senior accountant at KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP.
Patty earned her BBA and MBA in Public Accounting from Pace University, where she was named the Outstanding Female Accountant.
Sharlene Ackerl is a Private Client Associate at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to Prime Quadrant, Sharlene was a Junior Research Analyst and a Summer Associate at Spartan Fund Management where she worked under senior fund managers researching public equities.
Sharlene graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Management Organizational Studies, specializing in Finance. She was part of several clubs, her most substantial role being the Finance Executive of the Wildlife Conservation Society. She is a CFA Level 1 candidate.
Sharlene spends her time on hikes with her puppy, goes to the gym and plays soccer with her friends. She has recently picked up snowboarding and is self-teaching to play guitar.
Dana is a Risk & Compliance Associate at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Dana worked as a KYC specialist in Scotiabank’s Global Banking & Markets unit in both Colombia and Toronto. Dana also has experience in international banking and Client Service, also at Scotiabank. Dana holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance and International Affairs from the Universidad Externado de Colombia.
In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with her family, baking cakes, and reading novels.
Blair joined Beekman Wealth Advisory in 2022, which merged with Prime Quadrant US that same year.
Previously, Blair had worked at Morgan Stanley as an Assistant Vice President in Marketing for multiple internal business units within the firm, and in both wealth management and marketing roles at UBS Financial Services.
Blair has a Master’s degree in Sports Business Marketing and Sales from New York University and graduated from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management with a BS in Marketing, where she was also member of the Division 1 women’s lacrosse team.
Blair lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and is a passionate fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants!
Cameron Clasper is a Private Client Associate at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Cameron was a Funding & Liquidity Planning Associate at RBC where he led the funding and liquidity forecast automation project to standardize monthly balance sheet estimates for the Corporate Treasury team. Prior to RBC, Cameron worked as a Junior Analyst at Optima Capital Canada where he executed stock and options orders and prepared daily reports for their senior traders.
Cameron holds a BBA from the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. He has also completed the Canadian Securities Course.
Outside of work, Cameron enjoys playing hockey, spending time with his family and friends, and trying out new restaurants.
Bailey Cochrane is a Senior Private Client Associate at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Bailey worked for an independent Investor Relations and Capital Market Advisory firm. While he was there, he supported high growth Canadian companies across various sectors with shareholder communication, investor roadshows, and establishing their investment thesis. Prior thereto, Bailey worked as a Management Consultant with the Goodman Group.
Bailey holds a BBA Honours degree with a concentration in Finance from Goodman School of Business. He also graduated from Niagara College School of Business & Management as a 2-time CCAA Academic All-Canadian.
Outside of work, Bailey enjoys traveling, trying new food, and watching sports.
Ryan Collins is a Client Service Associate at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Ryan worked at MTB Group as a research analyst while completing his B.ScH degree at Queen's University. Ryan is a recent Smith School of Business graduate in business who is on track to complete his MBA.
Ryan is an avid Leafs fan as he grew up playing hockey and is also passionate about fitness and cooking.

Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Joshua was an Investment Advisor at RBC Dominion Securities. Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Jake was an investment banking analyst at CIBC World Markets where he assisted companies in the consumer, industrial and telecommunications industries on accessing the capital markets and executing on mergers & acquisitions. Prior thereto, Jake worked alongside management teams to plan and implement various strategic initiatives as a member of PwC’s management consulting practice.

Adrianna Garisto is a Private Client Associate at Prime Quadrant.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Adrianna worked as an Accounts Payable Analyst and Dividend Analyst for UBS Securities Canada. While there, she provided support for the Senior Analysts, assisted in year-end tax and audit processes, and created new, more efficient strategies.
Adrianna holds an MBA in Business Analytics and BBA in Finance from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University. She was a member of the Brock Finance and Investment Group and has completed the CFA Level I exam.

Mussie Hailu is an Associate Consultant at Prime Quadrant.
Before joining Prime Quadrant, Mussie was an Analyst at Fiera Capital on the Private Markets team, where he supported the construction of diversified pooled funds allocating across the alternative investment spectrum. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, Mussie worked at a single-family office, where he supported in evaluating and monitoring external managers and served as the lead for the family’s angel capital fund.

Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Anna worked as a Customer Service Representative for BMO. She focused on building long-term relationships with clients, meeting their needs in the most efficient way. Anna also participated in pro-bono consulting projects that helped non-profit organizations.
Anna holds a BA in Economics and International Relations with a minor in Spanish from the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Dennis was an associate at State Street Corporation where he was responsible for daily trade management, managing risk and preparing evaluation reports for alternative investment vehicles. He also acted as a liaison between internal teams and a primary point of contact for institutional clients to address inquiries and requests.
Dennis graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies. He has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course. Dennis is a CFA level 2 candidate.

Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Tara was a Manager at a Corporate Family Office where she provided financial planning services, tax and estate planning, as well as technical expertise in the areas of tax and financial reporting.
Prior to that Tara worked at Scotiabank as a Senior Financial Planning Associate. Tara obtained her CFP in 2001; she has completed the Canadian Securities Course and the Investment Management Techniques course with the Canadian Securities Institute and is currently enrolled in The Law of Trusts with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Gabriel worked as a Staff Accountant for Berg Chilling Systems where he maintained full cycle accounting, prepared month end reports, and assisted with year end audits. Prior to Berg Chilling Systems, he was a Staff Accountant with TPS Accounting Professional Corporation primarily focusing on compilations and the preparation of tax returns for small to medium sized corporations. Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Cameron worked as an Investment Analyst at HSBC Alternative Investments Group in London. He was responsible for performing quantitative due diligence on hedge funds, in addition to assisting in the portfolio management of the open-ended commingled hedge fund offerings. Prior to that he was an Analyst on the Global Graduate Programme at HSBC Global Asset Management, gaining experience in Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Multi-Asset, and Corporate Strategy.

Davee Gunn was a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant and is a veteran of the securities industry in Canada having held a number of senior executive positions over the past 30+ years.
Prior, Davee was President & CEO of Hahn Investment Stewards & Company Inc. (acquired by Industrial Alliance in 2012). Davee started her career in financial services at Richardson Securities, subsequently served as an officer, director and shareholder of Yorkton Securities, then co-founded Allied Canadian Development Corporation in 1988, a diversified real estate corporation that engages in the acquisition and development of commercial properties in Canada – Allied Properties REIT (TSX:AP.UN). Prior to Hahn, she was Vice Chair of Abria Financial Group, a firm recognized as a leader in the alternative investment business in Canada.
Davee has served on the Education Committee and as an instructor for the Canadian Securities Institute, the Sales Practices Committee of the Canadian Chapter of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) and is frequently cited for her education-based approach in the investment community.
Davee currently serves as a Director of the Prime Quadrant Foundation and on the Investment Committee for the Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She was a former co-Chair and member of the board of Shalom Village – a Long Term Care Organization affiliated with McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences, and was actively involved in the $3 million capital campaign for Rose Cherry’s Home – now the Darling Home for Kids.
As Chief Brand and Marketing Officer Bill led the marketing & brand strategy for Tim Hortons for almost 25 years – January 1990/August 2014 – and played a key role in developing the brand to its iconic status in the Canadian market. He was responsible for the overall strategic brand planning and execution of the chain marketing programs; including national brand advertising, regional/local marketing, sponsorships and consumer research. In addition Bill was responsible for menu/product research and development, quality control, corporate communications, and corporate social responsibility.
In 1997, Bill was chosen as Marketer of the Year by Marketing Magazine. In 2005, US based Advertising Age selected Bill as one of the Top 10 Marketers World-wide; and in 2010 Strategy Magazine chose Tim Hortons as Brand of the Decade. In addition to his role as CMO, Bill was also President of the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation from 2008 to 2015.

Chiko Nanji is the Group Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Metro Supply Chain Group. Metro operates approximately 45 logistics centers totaling in excess of 12mm sq. ft in North America and Europe and employs over six thousand people. Mr. Nanji is also Chairman of LDC Logistics Development Corporation, a leading real estate, development, and investment company.
After retiring from heading Dylex, Lionel Robins has devoted time and energy to many philanthropic causes, raising millions of dollars over the years to help those in need. An active member of the community, Lionel has served on the Board of Directors of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation for ten years as well as four years as Chairman of the Foundation. He is a past board member of the Betel Centre for Geriatric Care, the Board of Governors of Mount Sinai Hospital, the Board of Governors of Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care and a member of the executive Group of the UJA Federation. Lionel is currently President of a private investment firm. He has been actively involved in the development and management of several real estate ventures over the past 25 years.
Ian is the Chairman Emeritus of Prime Quadrant. He has been assisting wealthy families with their financial strategies, investing and structuring for over 30 years.
A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, Ian placed first in the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Final Qualifying Examination in Auditing. Ian is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, a Certified Investment Management Analyst, a Chartered Life Underwriter and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Ian has a distinguished track record as an entrepreneur having successfully established, purchased, run and sold several businesses. He was a senior officer at Henry Schein, the world’s largest company serving in-office health-care practitioners, where he established Henry Schein Financial Services and was responsible for the practice management software division, which serves more than 50,000 professional health-care practices in the United States.
Besides serving on several corporate boards and the board of an Alberta-based chartered trust company, Ian is actively involved with a number of charitable organizations, and serves as the chair of CFHU’s investment committee.
David Schroeder was, most recently, the Chief Executive Officer of DBRS, the fourth largest bond rating agency in the world. Prior to taking the reins of the company, he served as its Chief Operating Officer from 2006 to 2008. Before assuming his two most recent positions on the Executive Committee, David headed up the Consumer Products, Food Retail, Merchandising, and Grain groups and, prior to that, was a member of a variety of analytical groups on the fundamental side of the business since 1993. Upon exiting DBRS, David now serves as President & Chairman of Colonial House Capital Limited, and focuses on running his family office.
Brian Shaw, CFA, is a financial industry executive with particular expertise in capital market and investing activities, and is a private investor and corporate advisor. Brian was the Chairman and CEO of CIBC World Markets from 2005 through 2008 and prior to that managed the Global Equities Division for a number of years. He is currently a Corporate Director for Encana Corporation, as well as NuVista Energy Ltd. Walied Soliman is the Canadian chair of Norton Rose Fulbright. Larry Torkin was the founding partner of the law firm Torkin, Manes LLP, serving as its managing partner and chief financial officer. In that capacity, he was actively involved with the growth of the firm from its inception in 1974 till 1997, when it comprised of 40 partners and associates and 65 staff members. He was awarded a Q.C. designation in 1987. After his retirement, Larry served a leadership role in the Real Estate Capital Markets Division of a publicly traded securities firm, where he was involved in the securitization and public distribution of real estate investments in Canada, and assisted with several underwritings of real estate companies and REITS. Larry A. Torkin graduated with honours from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1971 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1973.
